Safiya Byars is an Atlanta-based attorney dedicated to helping immigrants and their families secure their immigration status and build fulfilling lives in the United States.
As the first international student at her college, Safiya personally navigated the complexities of maintaining her student visa and transitioning to permanent status.
This experience sparked her passion for guiding others through the often overwhelming immigration process.
Safiya represents individuals, couples, and families as they make critical immigration decisions—offering not just legal counsel, but also compassionate, personalized support.

A summa cum laude graduate of the University of Montevallo, Safiya went on to earn her Juris Doctor degree from the University of Alabama School of Law on scholarship in 2004.
